How long is the train ride to Machu Picchu? +

The journey from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes takes approximately 90 minutes each way — through some of Peru's most spectacular scenery.

How much walking is involved? +

The guided tour involves around 2 hours of walking on uneven terrain at altitude. Comfortable, grip-soled shoes are strongly recommended.
